Frequently asked questions
Is my supply powerful enough?
I check your supply and fuse box during the visit. The charger's power is set accordingly.
Where does the charger go?
In the garage, under a carport or on an outside wall: where the car parks, as close to the fuse box as possible.
Can it work with solar panels?
Yes. A smart charger can charge from your solar production first.
Does the charger need inspecting?
Yes. The charger needs a new circuit in the fuse box: that's a major change to the installation, which must be inspected by an approved body before it's used.
What about a car park in a block of flats?
It's possible, but it has to be discussed with the co-owners and we need to see where the cable will run from. I'll give you a clear quote to show the building manager.
Let's talk about your installation.
