Do the walls have to be opened up?
Not necessarily. Where possible, I use existing conduits, skirting boards or suspended ceilings. We look at what's feasible together on site.
Can we stay in the home during the work?
Often, yes: I work room by room and restore power each evening as far as possible. We plan this together before starting.
Will the installation be inspected?
A rewired installation must be inspected by an approved body. I prepare the diagrams and follow the inspection through to the end.
How much does rewiring cost?
It depends on the floor area, the number of circuits and what can be kept. I come and see, then give you a detailed quote, item by item, free and with no obligation.
Can we plan for an EV charger or home automation at the same time?
Yes, and it's the right moment: conduits and circuits go in during the work, so nothing has to be opened up again later.
